Director of Bands, Grades 9-12

  • Directed the "Raven Nation" Music Program, which includes: Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble,
    the "S.T. X-Press" Drumline, Basketball Pep Band, "Reflections" Color Guard/Majorettes, and the "Platinum"
    Pom Pom dance squad.

  • Designed "Show Style" marching band performances, which included writing drill, writing or acquiring custom music
    arrangements for all shows, overseeing the creation and instruction of dance/choreography, and writing Public Address
    announcements.

  • Planned, coordinated, and executed successful performance trips to the 2018 Chick-Fil A Peach Bowl, the 2017 Allstate
    Sugar Bowl (New Orleans, LA), the 255th Annual New York City Saint Patrick's Day Parade in 2016, and the Walt Disney
    World Main Street Electrical Parade in 2015.

  • Implemented the Charms Office Manager system to manage all email communication, member calendars, uniform
    and instrument inventory, and financial information. 

  • Implemented the Remind notification system for rapid mobile communication with all ensembles and instruments.

  • Created www.sussextechband.com for outreach to community members and 8th grade students applying to
    Sussex Tech, as well as a password-protected member's area to host a digitized marching music library and all
    critical online forms/documents.

  • Created and managed band program social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).

  • Instructed general music courses in Music Theory and Music Appreciation.
